Built a fraud detection system that analyses the structural and metadata properties of PDF bank statements. Uses profile-based anomaly detection to identify documents that deviate from known-good templates, flagging likely tampering before downstream processing.

Supported a national ministry in establishing a Data and AI competence centre from the ground up. Work covered the organisational model, governance frameworks, AI project intake and prioritisation, and board-level reporting on portfolio progress.

Led data quality strategy and ML model development for an international standards organisation. Delivered a cloud-based quality dashboard, a global validation rules engine, and chaired an international member working group on data quality practices.

Multi-language SDK for a financial data API

Designed and published a multi-language SDK covering Python, Java, and TypeScript for a financial data platform. Ships with automated CI pipelines for testing and publishing to a private registry. AI-assisted tooling was used to maintain consistency across language implementations.

National Digital Infrastructure

Solution architecture for a national digital service catalogue

Designed the solution architecture for a national government service catalogue and developed a strategy to grow adoption across local, regional, and national government. Aligned the design with Dutch government interoperability standards.

Fintech

Production ML service for banking transaction classification

Designed and built a production microservice that classifies personal and business banking transactions in real time. The system combines pattern matching with ML-based category inference, achieving over 96% accuracy at high throughput on live financial data.

Public Sector Regulator

Integration and identity architecture in a national regulator

Produced architecture standards for system integration and identity management across a national regulatory authority. Supported the adoption of an API platform and led vendor selection and market consultation processes.
